Biography
Azhar Yousuf is a native of the picturesque Jammu and Kashmir, India. He has a PhD in Applied Mathematics with specialization in Wavelets and Signal Processing. He served as Institute Post-Doctoral Fellow (IPDF) (May 2023 to December 2025) at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. Subsequently, he worked as Project Scientist (January 2026 to March 2026) on the ANRF-PAIR project titled Explainable, Interpretable and Cost-Effective Solutions for Deep Learning Assisted Signal Processing Applications at IIT Bombay, India. Currently, he is working as a Research Staff Member at the Translational Artificial Intelligence for Networked Universal Health Care (TANUH), an AI Centre of Excellence (AI-CoE) established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru.
