Biography

Praveen Kumar Pokala works on building large-scale, production-ready AI systems, with a focus on turning research ideas into practical impact. He currently serves as Vice President and AI/ML Lead at JPMorgan Chase, where he contributes at the intersection of applied research, enterprise platforms, and business needs.

Over the years, across roles at Qualcomm, Jio Platforms, OLA Krutrim, and JPMorgan Chase, he has had the opportunity to work on AI initiatives deployed across global markets. He enjoys learning from diverse teams, mentoring practitioners, and sharing ideas through talks and writing. His current interests are centered on building trustworthy, robust, and well-judged Agentic AI systems that behave reliably in real-world settings.
