Satish Mulleti

Biography

Born in Kharagpur, West Bengal, Satish Mulleti is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Bombay. He completed his schooling at S.E. Railway Mixed High School and Railway Boy's High School before pursuing a B.Tech. at Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College. He holds an M.Tech. from IIT Kanpur and a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.

His professional trajectory includes significant experience in both research and industry, having served at ISRO and TCS Innovation Labs. Prior to joining IIT Bombay in 2021, he spent over four years as a postdoctoral researcher in Israel at Technion and the Weizmann Institute of Science.
