Biography
Nikunj Bhagat is currently an Assistant Professor with joint appointments in the Departments of Electrical Engineering and Biological Sciences & Bioengineering at IIT Kanpur.
Nikunj earned his B. Engg. from University of Mumbai, M. Tech from IIT Bombay, and PhD from the University of Houston, all in Electrical Engineering. Following this, he pursued post-doctoral research at Houston Methodist Research Institute, TX and Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research, NY. In 2022, he also received DBT's Ramalingaswami Re-entry Fellowship.
His research interests are in EEG and neural signal processing, rehabilitation engineering, and medical instrumentation.
