Available Positions
Summer Internship
Target: Energetic and exceptionally bright students in their third year of Bachelors.
Duration: Minimum two months
Selection Process: If your CV looks suitable, one of our team members will get in touch with you and assign you a task. Your selection will depend on your performance in the task.
BTech Project Students
Target: Motivated and brilliant students in their fourth year of Bachelors.
Duration: Minimum two months and extendable up to one year
Perfect opportunity for final year students looking to gain research experience and work on cutting-edge projects.
MTech Project Students
Target: Top-notch MTech students from Signal Processing, Artificial Intelligence programs of IISc
Other Programs: Interested, high-performing MTech. students from other programs/departments at IISc may send an expression of interest and they will be considered only if their parent department allows them to undertake a project in Spectrum Lab.
MTech (Res.) and PhD Aspirants
Application: Interested candidates are welcome to apply for admission to the Department of Electrical Engineering.
GATE Requirement: GATE qualification in EC, EE, & CS papers is required for MTech (Research) and MTech programs.
Direct PhD: GATE qualification is not mandatory for direct PhD applicants from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA greater than 8 (on a scale of 10).

External Registration Program
Target: Working professionals who are interested in pursuing a part-time PhD on a topic of interest to the company/industry they are working for.
Ideal for professionals who want to advance their research skills while continuing their career.
Project Assistants
Target: Candidates with a Bachelors/Masters degree having an excellent academic track record desirous of pursuing a research stint in our lab.
Projects: We have several government funded and industry sponsored research projects and are always on the lookout for enthusiastic and efficient individuals who can deliver in a time-bound manner.
